Luis Enrique Ibañez Granela is the creative soul behind Símera-Art

With more than 10 years of experience, he has built a unique style that combines the magic of mythological legends with the energy of contemporary art.

Inspired from a young age by his family heritage, including the influence of his first teacher and second cousin, the painter Aida Ida Morales Hernández, Luis Enrique has created a world where fantasy, heavy metal and mythology come together to bring to life illustrations full of meaning.

Each work by Símera Art is born from her passion for the fantastic and the desire to take others to places full of mystery and charm. Her creations are not just illustrations, but doors to vibrant worlds where color, symbolism and narrative intertwine to generate a unique visual experience.

Luis Enrique has exhibited in important galleries and cultural centers such as the Juan Marinello House of Culture and the Casa de la Ciudad Museum, as well as at the Bar Galería Mejunje. In addition, he has been recognized in competitions such as Olga Alonso and on November 28, 2024 he presented his exhibition Profanus Panteon at the "Galería Pórtico" Art Gallery with the inauguration of the Rock Metal Festival in Cuba.

His versatility allows him to express his art in different formats, from custom illustrations for merchandising to comics and pyrography on leather and wood, making it accessible to a diverse audience.
