The Inspiration of Símera: A Fantastic World is Born

The Kelpie

Luis Enrique created Símera Art out of his passion for fantasy and his love for myths.

His first work, "The Kelpie", was an attempt to depict mythological creatures and, although it was initially rejected, it gained recognition at the Juan Marinello House of Culture, where it was even acquired by a foreign visitor.

This success prompted him to explore deeply into sea myths, Norse and Greek mythologies, and the dark universe of Lovecraft.

This is how Símera Art was born, a brand that combines the epic and the mythical, with each illustration telling a story full of color, mystery and adventure.

Explore the darkness and mystery of the Simera universe with 'The Guardian of Hades'

This unique work captures the essence of the past and myth, representing the figure of the guardian who protects the darkest secrets of Simera.

His role in Leig's story (the protagonist of these legendary tales), as a guide throughout his journey, evokes the connection with Dante's Divine Comedy, where Virgil leads Dante through the underworld.

This art is not only visually stunning, but also contains layers of history and symbolism that will transport you to another world.

The artwork 'The Guardian of Hades' is a powerful representation of the protector of the portals of Simera, a being that takes protagonist Leig on an enigmatic journey.

Inspired by myth and legend, this piece reflects the perfect mix of mystery and fantasy, a work that has already left its mark in exhibitions, winning awards at the Casa de la Cultura and at the Cuban Rock Festival: Ciudad Metal 2022.
